Review: Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation!

Hello so today i'll be reviewing the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation. I'm always looking out for new foundations and this one is quite a hyped product and I think I've found my perfect foundation.

I picked this up for about $20 from Priceline, which I guess is a pretty decent Australian price for a foundation. I really like the texture of it and I find it really easy to apply. This product has SPF 15, which is great for these hot temperatures. I find this gives me light to medium coverage but it is quite buildable. This foundation gives a really nice radient glow and I just love the way it looks on my skin. From what I remember there weren't a whole heap of shade selections but this one that I chose fit me perfectly!

This foundation has a pump! I wish more foundations bottles had them.

Overall
Packaging: 5/5, I really like the packaging as its really easy to get product out of it!
Price: 4/5, Beauty prices in Australia is quite high so $20 is pretty decent.
Cons: The shade selection is quite limited, the shimmers may come off as oily depending on the skin type.
Pros: Affordable, packaging, gives nice radient glow.
Overall Rating: 4/5

I definetly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice everyday foundation. I found it great for me as it was buildable light to medium coverage and gave a nice natural glow to the face. This product has definetly become my holy grail foundation!

Lust Have It Unboxing!

Hello! So today I received my first Lust Have It box. I actually received this box a month late.... This is the April Box and I received it on 12th May. For those of you who don't know, Lust Have It is an Australian monthly subscription box. So for $20 a month you'll receive a box full of about 5-6 product samples and maybe the occasional full size product. This is my second subscription box, the first one being Glossybox which I liked but ended my subscription a while ago. What is strange is these boxes all used to be $15 a month but now $20.

I really like this box and it can definetly be reused

The contents of the April box

April Favourites!

April is drawing to an end and I haven't done many monthly favourite posts of my blog yet. So todays post is my favourite products of April!

1) Urban Decay Naked Palette: Sin
Sin is a really nice light champagne colour and I love it! Perfect for just a sweep of colour over the lids and it has amazing staying power! I got my Naked Palette from Beautybay.com

Clinique Cream Shaper for the Eyes: Brown
This eyeliner is brown so its not to intense but I just love the way it glides on and lasts majority of the day without smudging.

Maybelline Illegal Lengths Mascara
This is by far my favourite mascara out of the ones I've tried so far. As the name suggests it gives nice length and also separation.

Mac Mineralised Skin Finish Natural
I haven't been really wearing to much makeup these past holidays and when I do I just use concealer and this powder. I love it, It's actually nearly run out! :( I use this to set my concealer/foundation and I find it gives a nice, natural, light coverage.

So hopefully you like these favourites because I plan to do them most months! Feel free to leave any comments!

Ombre Hair

I love the look of ombre hair and the trend is quite popular. I've had my hair ombre twice one was proffesionally done the other time I did it myself for only $18! They both looked the same and personally I prefer to do it myself.

This is my DIY Ombre

I prefer to use a highlighting kit for my ombre rather than the typical blond dyes. They are made for highlighting dark hair where the other blonde dyes are for blondes. I have noticed many more different highlighting kits are coming out and the one I prefer is the Clairol Frost and Tip.
I didn't really follow a specific method, I just sectioned my hair into 4, applied the dye and wrapped them in foils. I left the dye on for roughly 20mins. Each hair type is different and I recommend checking the hair every so often.
I hope you enjoyed this post and feel free to leave any comments!

Beauty Storage

Hey! Sorry for not posting in ages This is how I store my makeup. There are so many different storage solutions out there between many different price ranges.

Lipstick Holder
I bought this Acryllic  lipstick holder for $5 from Target and can hold 9. You can buy many and stack them together.

Plastic Drawer Unit
I use this 3 drawer to store hair products and lotions. I keep this under my dressing table. These can be purchased from many different stores.

Dressing Table
This dressing table is from Ikea and it has a glass top which is good for removing makeup stains/nailpolish. It also has a decent sized draw which is good for storage. This costed $200.
